raced them at the e-town last wednesday for test and tune. both were late year models. it was funny inching my way to the starting lines because i was praying that i would not get matched up with the viper. well here's the results: mustang: 14.6
viper gts: 12.5 my best time of the night was a 15.2 my 60' time was pretty bad at 2.4 sec. how the heck do you get this down on street tires? oh yes, very important point. the perfect launching point with my stock exhaust was right around 3K rpm. when i tried this with the hipers, i ran 16 flat! so i upped the launch to around 3700rpm, i ran 15.5. i then tried slipping it at 4200rpm and got the 15.2 i know that i can launch higher because i got very little wheel spin, if any at all. damn the torque loss. btw F&F was AWESOME! i absolutely loved the film.
